Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. remains committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable laws. We continue to maintain a zero-tolerance approach toward modern slavery, forced labor, and child labor within our operations and supply chain.

During the 2026 reporting year, we maintained the policies, procedures, and controls implemented in prior years to support ethical sourcing and responsible business practices. We completed our audit of major suppliers and found no evidence of forced labor, child labor, or other modern slavery concerns. No supplier investigations or incidents related to modern slavery were identified during the reporting period.

As Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. progresses through its merger process with Inland Kenworth, we remain committed to maintaining strong compliance standards and continuing our efforts to uphold human rights throughout our business relationships and operations.

We proudly continue to serve communities across Alberta as an authorized Kenworth dealership and remain dedicated to conducting business in a manner that respects the rights and dignity of all individuals connected to our operations.

Our Organization

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd., a Canadian Controlled Private Corporation (CCPC) established in 1982, operates 7 locations across Alberta. As a premier Kenworth dealership with a Paclease division, we employ approximately 320 staff and strive to foster a diverse, inclusive, and ethical workplace culture.

We continue to uphold high professional and ethical standards throughout our organization and expect the same from our suppliers, contractors, and business partners. Sustainability, accountability, and community impact remain integral pillars of our operations and long-term objectives.

During the 2026 reporting period, Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. entered into a merger process with Inland Kenworth. Throughout this transition, our commitment to ethical sourcing and compliance with Canada’s modern slavery legislation remains unchanged.

Policies and Processes

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. maintained and continued to apply the policies and procedures implemented in prior reporting years to mitigate the risk of forced labor and child labor within our operations and supply chain.

These policies and tools include:

  • Human Rights and Modern Slavery Policy
  • Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Forced Labor and Child Labor Questionnaire
  • Supplier Investigation Template
  • Existing policies relating to anti-discrimination, complaints, confidentiality, and contractor management

These policies and procedures continue to be monitored and supported by leadership in coordination with Human Resources, Safety, IT, Procurement, and operational departments.

Steps Taken During the Reporting Period

During the 2026 reporting period, Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. continued to apply and maintain its existing compliance framework and due diligence measures.

Key activities included:

  • Completion of the audit of major suppliers initiated in the prior reporting period
  • Review of supplier responses and compliance documentation
  • Continued use of supplier questionnaires and ethical sourcing expectations
  • Ongoing monitoring of supplier relationships and procurement practices
  • Maintenance of internal policies and reporting procedures related to modern slavery compliance

The completed supplier audit identified no evidence of forced labor, child labor, or related human rights concerns within the suppliers reviewed.

No formal investigations relating to modern slavery concerns were initiated during the 2026 reporting period

Training

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. maintained awareness of modern slavery risks and compliance obligations among relevant personnel throughout the reporting period.

Training materials and policies established in prior years remain accessible to applicable staff and continue to support employee understanding of forced labor, child labor, and ethical sourcing obligations under Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act.

No new or additional formal training initiatives were conducted during the 2026 reporting period.

Due Diligence

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. continues to source a significant portion of its parts inventory through PACCAR warehouse and Direct Ship Program channels. We continue to rely on established supplier relationships and existing compliance expectations within our procurement processes.

During the 2026 reporting period, we completed the audit of our major suppliers. The audit did not identify any concerns relating to forced labor, child labor, or modern slavery practices.

Our due diligence measures continue to include:

  • Use of the Forced Labor and Child Labor Questionnaire
  • Supplier review and monitoring processes
  • Application of our Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Internal reporting and escalation procedures for concerns, where applicable

We remain committed to reviewing and improving our due diligence practices as appropriate.

Looking Ahead

As Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. continues through the merger process with Inland Kenworth, we remain committed to maintaining compliance with applicable legislation and supporting ethical business practices throughout our operations and supply chain.

We will continue to monitor supplier relationships, maintain existing policies and procedures, and assess opportunities for future improvements to our compliance and due diligence framework as organizational changes progress.
