The Role
Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is looking for a 3rd Year or Journeyman Parts Technician for our Fort McMurray location, to provide assistance to internal and external customers, providing advice on required parts, companion parts, available specials and exposure to our full product line.
Responsibilities
Have a thorough understanding of Kenworth parts and associated electronic Parts catalogues and computer systems
Provision of sound customer service in a fast paced Parts environment
Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of
- Certified Journeyman Parts Technician. Third year apprentices will be considered
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ experience in a Parts department, preferably in the heavy truck parts industry
- Experience with electronic catalogues
- Previous Kenworth dealership experience considered an asset
Shift
This is a permanent full time position that may include afternoon, evening, and Saturday shifts as well as after-hours phone call out.
